Memorandum: Kamala Harris is toxic in Pennsylvania

Subject: Kamala Harris is toxic in Pennsylvania

Kamala Harris and her support for San Francisco liberal policies is a toxic brand for Pennsylvania Democrats, including weak Bob Casey. Casey has embraced the failed policies that vast majorities of Pennsylvania hate. 

Our first ad is just the start of a massive campaign that we’re launching about the dangers of Kamala Harris and Bob Casey working together to push radical liberal policies.

The McCormick campaign will aggressively point out these truths to the people of Pennsylvania for the remainder of the campaign. In fact, our internal data finds that Harris’s image is in a worse position among most key groups in the election than Biden’s was. While some in the press are working overtime to promote disinformation about Harris, we will fight back tooth and nail to ensure an accurate portrayal of her record. 

This campaign is a choice between a Harris-Casey agenda that is weak on crime, soft on the border, and liberal on everything.

There is one fact that will dominate this election:

KAMALA HARRIS IS THE MOST LIBERAL PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE IN HISTORY — AND BOB CASEY SUPPORTS IT ALL.

Voting
Bob Casey voted with Harris 98% of the time when she was in the Senate and 100% of the time when she presided as Senate President.

The Border
Kamala Harris and Bob Casey hold radical positions on the border including eliminating ICE and decriminalizing border crossings. Even more incredibly, Harris supports taxpayer funded benefits for illegal immigrants. Dave McCormick disagrees and will finish building the wall and will enforce return to Mexico policies that were successful under President Trump.

Energy
Kamala Harris, and now Bob Casey, support the most radical energy plan in American history. Harris wants to ban fracking which would devastate the Pennsylvania economy. This is a truly radical position. At the same time she talks about “transitioning” energy workers to new jobs. Dave McCormick will never let this happen. He will fight for better jobs and more pay for energy workers. Harris and Casey just want them on the unemployment line.

Taxes
Bob Casey supports raising taxes on EVERY Pennsylvania family while wanting tax cuts for rich California homeowners (like Kamala Harris). The Casey-Harris plan on taxes would eliminate the cuts enacted by President Trump and cost the average Pennsylvania family thousands of dollars in taxes per year. At the same time Casey-Harris have advocated for special tax cuts for people who have mansions in high tax states like California. Voters have a clear choice here where McCormick will keep the current Trump tax rates in place.

Israel
Kamala Harris won’t even show up to see the Prime Minister of Israel speak. She holds radical views supported by Bob Casey that endanger Israel’s ability to defend itself. While Hamas was celebrating the murder of hundreds of Israelis, Harris was calling for a ceasefire.

Crime
Bob Casey and Kamala Harris oppose funding for police. She wants to give voting rights to convicts including the Boston marathon bomber, murderers, and people convicted of sexual assault. At the same time she supports mandatory gun confiscation policies aimed at legal gun owners.

Elimination of Private Employer Health Insurance
Casey and Harris support a plan that would remove every American from their hard earned health insurance. This includes millions of union members that have negotiated for great coverage only to have that destroyed by Democrats. As Harris said, “let’s eliminate all of that.”

Casey said the more we get to know Harris, the more we will be impressed by her ability. Well the more they know her San Francisco liberal ways the less they are going to be voting for her or him.

In the days to come our campaign will release a raft of targeted digital, mail, and television advertising to drive home this message. All Pennsylvanians will be fully informed on the failure of the Biden-Harris-Casey agenda and will have a clear choice.

A note on press coverage
The honeymoon around Harris by some in the corporate media will not be tolerated by Pennsylvanians who were lied to for years about Joe Biden’s mental condition. Our campaign will aggressively reinforce the truth when Harris’s record is covered inaccurately by the media, just as we did when they failed to accurately cover Joe Biden’s evident decline.
