‘The future of the country and the Senate depends on what we do here’

PITTSBURGH, PA. — Dave McCormick, a combat veteran and Pennsylvania job creator who served in the highest levels of government, joined Fox News’ America’s Newsroom after his primary win to discuss how he’ll retire career politician Bob Casey, his new digital ad on Casey’s transformation into a rubber stamp, and how Pennsylvanians are suffering under Bidenomics.

On how Dave will retire career politician Bob Casey

“I’m so excited to officially be the nominee for the Republican Party [in] what I think will be one of the most important races in the country… The future of the country and the Senate depends on what we do here… Listen, I’m barnstorming across the great Commonwealth going to all 67 counties. And the more people get to know me, the more I have their support.”

On Dave’s new digital ad

Bob Casey’s voted 98% of the time with Joe Biden — he’s not shown any independence. He’s been a follower, not a leader. And so when you look at spiraling inflation or a wide open border or crime in Philadelphia, or the war on oil and gas development in Pennsylvania, you can thank Bob Casey, he’s voted every step of the way with Joe Biden. And that’s why 80% of Pennsylvanians think the country is going in the wrong direction.”

On how Pennsylvanians are suffering under Bidenomics

“60% of Pennsylvanians are living paycheck to paycheck. And prices have gone up 20% under Biden — wages have gone up 14%… The reason is all this enormous spending. Republicans and Democrats alike have spent too much in the last 20 years, [but] Biden’s spent $6 trillion more — Casey’s voted for it. So the first thing to do is you got to pull back from a lot of that spending that’s been put forth by President Biden. The second thing is the absolute war on oil and gas exploration in the United States — that’s driven up fuel prices.”
